Atletico Madrid qualified for the UEFA Champions League next season after 11 heavily limping years and now feel that they can attrach anybody and everybody to the Estadio Vicente Calderon and they also feel that they can attract a certain Samir Nasri.
The 20-year old Samir Nasri is said to be the best young player in entire France and the heir apparent of the retired French maestro Zinedine Zidane. He is currently with French giants Marseille but it looks increasingly likely that he shall move abroad.
Just before the European Championships commenced, it was being believed that Premiership giants Arsenal would sign Nasri but now Spanish powerhouse Atletico Madrid have made the cause to sign the gisted Marseilleite their own.
It is being widely reported in Spain that [{Atletico Madrid]] are ready to pay almost 15 million euros for the player and offer him a four-year contract. They are also ready to pay Nasri a wahe that would be higher than what Arsenal would pay him.
Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger of course remains quietly confident that after the European championships end at the end of this month, he shall get the prized signature of the next Zidane, one Samir Nasri.
