Knicks Need More Pieces to Entice LeBron

The New York Knicks have some nice pieces to build a team around. David Lee is an all star quality forward. Nate Robinson is a good offensive guard. Young forwards Jordan Hill and Danilo Gallinari also have great potential.

But if LeBron James is to decide on Madison Square Garden as his new home, Knicks President Donnie Walsh will need to add another high priced free agent, or two.

David Lee is a very good big man, but he is not a devastating low post offensive and defensive threat. Chris Bosh is exactly the kind of player the Knicks need. Bosh can play good defense and provide excellent offensive numbers. He is also very athletic and runs the floor well for someone his size.

Perhaps the Knicks most urgent need is a veteran point guard. Nate Robinson and Chris Duhon are not good point guards, especially ones that could lead you deep into the playoffs. Acquiring Steve Nash would be perfect for the Knicks.

Nash loves Knicks coach Mike D'Antoni, the two were together in Phoneix for several years. Nash would fit the Knicks style of run and gun offense very nicely, and despite his age, mid 30's, his numbers are still very impressive.

If the Knicks are to entice LeBron James to the big apple, more parts must be acquired to build a solid winner for years to come.
