Michelle Wie is in Munich, Germany, participating in the Ladies German Open. She shot a 4-under 68 on Thursday, and is tied with ten other players for seventh place. Nina Reis of Sweden is in the lead.
Wie, who has played in only tournaments this year (both in the United States), said in an interview: "I felt I was a little bit rusty. But I am happy with how I played today... I feel I can do a lot. I left a lot out there on the par fives."
Wie received a sponsor's invitation to play in the event.
Meanwhile, Nina Reis had eight birdies, including at the last two holes, for a bogey-free round of 64.
