Garnett and Boozer - Players of the Week

Tuesday, December 8, 2009 -- Eastern Conference and Western Conference announced their Players of the Week for the past week, from 30 November, 2009 till 6th December, 2009 on 7 December, 2009. Kevin Garnett from the Boston Celtics was named for the Eastern Conference and Carlos Boozer was named the same for the Western Conference.

The Celtics went on to a 3-0 week with averages reaching up to 19.7 points per game. The team reported a shooting field of 0.706 with 7.3 rebounds with 4.3 assists. Garnett had scored 16 points for a game on 1st December, 2009. He had also scored 5 assists with 7 rebounds for the same game and took the team to a 108-90 win. Again on 3rd December, 2009, he scored 8 rebounds contributing to 23 points for a 105-87 final score against Oklahoma City. The Celtics have reached to their 7th consecutive win, thanks to Garnett.

The Jazz ascended to a 2-1 score last week with Boozer attaining 0.627 shooting field to contribute to a 26.7 average score. He helped the Jazz with 3.7 assists, 1.7 steals and 13.7 rebounds per game. He also led the Jazz for his 35 points with 13 rebounds for a 96-87 win over Indiana. Boozer has averaged about 20 points with 10 rebounds for this season, a feat only achieved by Chris Bosh from Toronto.
