The England team was awarded with the team of the year for second successive year, where Holly Colvin got the Young Sportswoman of the year award. Sussex player, Colvin won the UK Sport Young Sportsperson of the year award. She is a popular spinner who became the youngest cricketer to have represented England, after getting selected for the Ashes series in 2005 when she was only 15 years old. Rachael Heyhoe – Flint was presented with the CCPR Lifetime Achievement Award. Heyhoe is known as one of the most popular female cricketers in England to have represented her country for over 22 years and have been its captain between 1966 and 1978.Major achievements of this team
