Free-agent wide receiver Koren Robinson, who has played for three NFL teams in six years, is still free but may not be free much longer. The Oakland Raiders continue to show interest in Robinson who was recently released by the Green Bay Packers.
Robinson played four seasons with the Seattle Seahawks. In 2002, his second pro season, he had his most productive year, making 78 receptions for 1,240 yards. He had five touchdowns that season. Since 2003, he has never played for a full season.
Robinson spent one year at Minnesota, where in 14 games he has just 22 catches for 347 yards. In his last two seasons, he's played for the Packers, appearing in 13 games and making 28 receptions for 330 yards. During that time, he crossed the goal line once.
Although the Raiders appear to have the most interest in the veteran, they probably won't be making any decisions soon. They are still evaluating their younger receivers, including two draft picks; a fourth-rounder from Richmond, Arman Shields and a seventh-rounder from San Diego, Chaz Schilens.
The Kansas City Chiefs have also shown a minimal amount of interest in Robinson. It will most likely be weeks before any decisions are made.
