Barcelona have virtually ended their summer transfer spendings and have signed in the attacking and the defensive departments. But they have a small squad and coach Josep Guardiola is reportedly not keen to add at least one more player so that he can add depth to his squad.

Now according to El Mundo Deportivo, Guardiola has asked Barcelona sporting director Txiki Begiristain to try and see if he can lure former Real Madrid star Robinho from Manchester City. This is easier said than done but with the Brazilian international having said that he would like to play for Barcelona at some point in the future, Guardiola reportedly wants the club to try once more for Robinho.

It is understood, though, that Manchester City would turn down any offer that Barcelona make as Robinho is one of their more prized assets.
