Monday, June 4 2007 -- The Danish football hooligan who wacked the German umpire that terminated the game between Denmark and Sweden is remorseful today.
Realizing that he will probably be sued by the Danish government for millions due to loss of future revenue and that he may have singlehandedly sent his country out of the Euro 2008 the 29-year old Dane who lives in Sweden claims this was the biggest mistake of his life.
After 20 beers he just wanted to tell the umpire a few things and he claims he had no knowledge about the penalty kick and the only thing he remembers is jumping on to the pitch. Today he feels terrible about what he did to the umpire, his nation, and all the fans.
