Tuesday, July 21, 2009 -- Arsenal midfielder Samir Nasri is out for at least two months and possibly three after suffering a broken fibula in training.
Arsenal are in Austria at the moment for their pre-season and it was during training for the French midfielder got himself injured. It appears that Nasri suffered a broken fibula during training and was taken to hospital in massive pain.
This is certainly not good news for Arsenal, who have been tipped to lose their position in the Top Four in the Premier League at long last. The 22-year-old is one of the most important players for the Gunners and his absence for the opening weeks of the 2009-2010 campaign would be a huge blow to Arsene Wenger's chances of winning the league.
