FC Barcelona have been tipped to confront a player exodus in the summer and the much undesirable phenomenon has commenced.

Or almost commeneced. It has been widely reported in the Spanish press that Barcelona's Portuguese international midfielder Deco is on his way out of the Camp Nou cathedral. Deco has been at Barca since the summer of 2004 but he has been severely out of form in the 2007-2008 season.

Deco has also been in confrontation with Frank Rijkaard's tranining schedule. He, along with Ronaldinho, was informed by the club earlier in the season that he would need to prove his full fitness to regain his starting place.

Deco was booed off the pitch by the Blaugrana faithful at Camp Nou at the weekend against Real Mallorca in La Liga. He has since met his agent and is looking at offers from the Premiership and the Italian Serie A.
