According to reports emerging from the Spanish media, Real Madrid are willing to hand their star player Robinho a contract extension. The club are even ready to hike Robinho's salary.
It has surfaced to the top that Robinho is highly wanted by the Spanish giants who have just clinched their 31st La Liga crown. Robinho played a massive role in that and is now one of the stars of Spanish football.
Robinho's current contract at Real Madrid ends in June 2010 but the club want himto stay on until Juve 2014. They are also ready to increase Robinho's current annual wage of 2 million euros and also increase the perks.
Robinho is only 24 years of age and is often compared to the Brazilian legend Pele. He has been playing at the Santiago Bernabeu since the summer of 2005 but in his three years in Madrid, he has earned the reputation of being a party animal.
