Saturday, June 27, 2009 -- Italian giants and European powerhouse AC Milan are closing in on the Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor.
Milan vice-president Adrano Galliani has revealed that he has spoken to Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger and that he has discussed the possible transfer of the Togo international from the Emirates to the San Siro.
The Milan official has been quoted by Sky Sport Italia as saying:
"Adebayor is the alternative to Edin Dzeko and I have called Arsenal to inform them of our interest. I Spoke to Arsene Wenger and Adebayor was part of the conversation."
Milan are also in the hunt for the VfL Wolfsburg striker Edin Dzeko.

Smart move but he might be too lazy to be a part of Milan's style. He is more of the, "Give the ball to my feet and I will make things happen" kind rather than the "I will come and get the ball and make things happen".
So i don't know how effective he will be unless of course, Ronaldinho makes a difference up front - first by losing weight, then by losing his markers.
