Friday, June 26, 2009 -- Reigning Spanish and European giants FC Barcelona are on the verge of signing Brazilian youngster Keirrison from Palmeiras.
Globesporte reports that the 20-year-old's agent Marcos Malaquias is currently in Barcelona trying to negotiate a deal with the Catalan powerhouse. Keirrison is a highly rated Brazilian youngster who has scored five goals in seven matches for his club and is said to be a future star.
Barcelona are keen on landing this Brazilian wonderkid at Camp Nou but have to talk first with the business group Traffic that actually owns 80% of the players rights.
