Saturday, June 20, 2009 -- According to reports in the Italian press, Juventus legend Pavel Nedved could make a return to his old club Lazio.
The former Czech international had retired from football at the end of the 2008-2009 season after finishing second in the Italian Serie A with Juventus.
His agent, though, did hint that his client still had hunger to play on for some more time. Now, according to Il Corriere Dello Sport, Nedved's former club Lazio are interesting in signing the veteran and former Ballon d'Or.
It's been reported that Lazio president Claudio Lotito met with the player's agent, Mino Raiola, on Thursday to talk about a possible deal. He has been quoted as saying:
"It's true, I have met with Lotito. We have to wait ten to 15 days. Pavel is on holiday and he is resting. We will decide everything once he returns."
