Wednesday, May 27, 2009 -- Highly rated Italian striker Alberto Aquilani has finally signed a new contract with Italian Serie A club AS Roma.
Alberto Aquilani's previous deal was due to expire in 2010 and there have been reports suggesting that Italian giants Inter Milan and Juventus both were interesting in taking the 24 year old on board.
The player, though, has agreed to sign a new deal with Roma that will see him stay at the Stadio Olimpico until 2013. The Italian striker shall earn over 3 million euros for the remainder of his years in Rome.
