Monday, April 28 2008 -- Valencia might have comfortably brushed aside fellow relegation candidates Osasuna 3-0 at the Mestalla on Sunday afternoon in La Liga but the stark, naked truth is that los Che remain just 4 points above the relegation zone with just 4 more rounds of matches remaining this season.
Valencia however did give a much more balanced and enthusiastic performance at the Mestalla on Sunday with star striker David Villa running the show. However new coach Voro does sound cautious and insists that one win doesn't hood the fact that they are still in danger of dropping down in the Segunda Division.
Voro says:
"We knew how to cope with the pressure and move forward after a difficult sitution and we can now view the future with optimism, although we have not achieved anything yet. One win does not solve all the problems, just like losing would not have been that serious."
But this vital win over Osasuna and the return of the exiled trio---Santiago Canizares, captain David Albelda and Miguel Angel Angulo--- to the first team should certainly boost the morale of the entire squad.
