Monday, April 20, 2009 -- In Game 1 on Saturday (18th April 2009), LeBron James exhibited a tremendous performance of 38 points and 7 assists. When questioned about his aggressiveness, he revealed that his approach during this game was not different from any other game. He remarked that whenever he sees flaws in the defense, he attempts to attack those. While playing against the Pistons, he saw several cracks in the defense. Tayshaun Prince is considered as one of the best defenders in the league, however it is not possible that he would guard James all by himself. This job requires a very good collaboration of all the five guys in the opposite team.
James’ statistics
Prior to this particular game on Saturday, in 17 out of the 36 games that James played against the Pistons, he has shot less than 42 percent off the field. In these 17 games, the Detroit Pistons had a record of 12-5. However, in this Saturday’s game, James made 20 shots and made 13 of these. The Pistons could not disrupt his rhythm, could not coerce him to yield the ball and never could make him pay for getting into the lane.Next game
