Reports in the Italian press a couple of days ago suggested that AC Milan have beaten their old rivals Juventus in arresting the signature of the Arsenal midfielder Matthieu Flamini in the summer and now the Milan coach himself admits that he is very much keen to import the player to Milan.
Milan boss Carlo Ancelotto told Milan Channel that he would very much like to procure Flamini as a free agent in the summer since that would bolster their midfield. The Italian said:
"If he [Flamini] were to come here on a free transfer, it would be good for our midfield."
Flamini's contract at Arsenal runs out at the end of the season and the Frenchman is unlikely to extend his run at the Emirates.
