Arsene Wenger Deny Henry Coup

There has been a tremendous transfer speculation on the future of Theirry Henry and reports suggest that the Frenchman is so unhappy at FC Barcelona that he is set to leave Camp Nou in the summer and head towards his old club Arsenal.

But Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger denies that the Gunners are looking to embrace back their old hero. He of course does keep the option of signing him back in the future but insists that they are not looking to get him back in the summer.

Wenger said:

"Thierry said he is happy at Barcelona and if he comes back he will only play at Arsenal which I find really a very good statement.

"He is happy at Barcelona. You can never say never, but at the moment I do not think about that [signing him again]."

Wenger's relationship with Henry broke down towards the tail-end of last season and that is one of the primary reasons why Henry decided to switch to Barcelona where he has been more than just frustrated at the lack of proper opportunities.
