Saturday, April 26 2008 -- Vicente del Bosque has been out of the limelight since he was sacked just one day after he had led Real Madrid to the Spanish league triumph in the 2002/2003 season. But these days he is often being quoted in the press and on online portals and in one such interviews he speaks on his old club and his old adversary.
Del Bosque expressed his admiration for Real Madrid this season and applauds coach Bernd Schuster for making the Madrid giants competitive once again. Del Bosque says:
"Asfor Real Madrid, they have been the most consistent team in La Liga and they deserve to be where they are.
What they have done is a testimony of Bernd Schuster's hard work."
Del Bosque is also highly impressed with FC Barcelona and their season in the UEFA Champions League far and says:
"Yes, Barcelona didn't score at home but they have enough quality to create plenty of chances at Old Trafford."
