LeBron James

His statistics are 27.8 ppg, 7.5 rpg, 7 apg, 2 spg (steals per game) and 1.3 bpg (blocks per game). Cavs have a team record of 35-9.

Kobe Bryant

Kobe Bryant of Los Angeles Lakers has attained the No. 2 spot. The Lakers, who have a team record of 35-9, sealed 4 consecutive victories which included an imposing win over the Spurs, but blew a home game to the Bobcats. While playing against the Sixers, he dropped 10 boards, 15 dimes and 27 points as well as 7 steals. In the current month, this was his second triple-double. While discussing MVPs, it must be kept in mind that the best statistics are not a guarantee to be chosen as the MVP. In the 2007-08 season, LeBron James had figures of 7.2 apg, 7.9 rpg, 30 ppg, but he MVP was Kobe Bryant with figures of 5.4 apg, 6.3 rpg and 28.3 ppg.
