FC Barcelona confront Manchester United in the first leg of their UEFA Champions League semi-final tie at Camp Nou on Wednesday night and they already appear to fall into trouble.
Ronaldinho has long been sidelined out of the match with a thigh strain and defender and captain Carles Puyol is suspended. Now it appears that the Blaugrana could be without their striker Thierry Henry too.
Henry missed the traning on Monday with a fever and it is reported in the Spanish press that he might as well miss the Man United match at Camp Nou on Wednesday. It is not clear whether Henry shall train on Tuesday or not but if he does, then it will be a massive boost for Frank Rijkaard who is counting on experienced individuals to see them through the Manchester United tie.
Along with Henry, Lilian Thuram, Edmilson and back-up goalkeeper Albert Jorquera missed Monday's training for various reasons but defender Oleguer Presas is back from a hand injury. Most importantly, Barcelona have Lionel Messi back into shape and the 20-year old Argentine wiz kid could be the most influential player at Camp Nou come Wednesday night.
