Arsenal might have defeated Reading with ease in the Premiership on Tuesday but that doesn't console Cesc Fabregas much. This season the Gunners have been playing stupendously entertaining football once again but like every season have again failed to garner any silverware.
This, Cesc Fabregas says need to be stopped. He was of course quite pleased with the 2-0 defeat of Reading at the Emirates but did give a warning or two about the future of Arsenal.
The 20-year old Spanish international says:
"Today was important for pride, for the fans, for ourselves.
"We are all disappointed for the season, how it finished. I think we did pretty well all season but at the end it was disappointing.
"We needed a performance like this to try to finish as best we can.
"We don't want to always say 'next year, next year'. I think it is a mistake. We want to do it now.
My future? I really hope it belongs to Arsenal."
Young Cesc is right about this. The Gunners do tend to play very attacking and attractive football but somehow they lose their concentration and efficiency in the home stretch of the season and this is a matter of concern for Arsenal boss [{Arsene Wenger]].
