Tuesday, November 18, 2008 -- Premier League giants Chelsea have been knocked with the news that their top striker Didier Drogba shall be out for the next three Premier League matches after the FA found him guilty of "violent conduct".
Didier Drogba was charged by the FA of the charge after he was caught throwing back a coin that had come from the crowd during the Blues' Carling Cup clash with lower division side Burnley last week. A huge furore erupted as to whether Drogba was right in throwing back the object which could have seriously hurt him had it met its purpose.
The FA charged the Ivory Coast international striker of "violent conduct" and have banned him for three matches. This implies that Drogba shall now miss Chelsea's matches against Newcastle United, Arsenal and Bolton Wanderers.
