Wenger Trapped In Signing Dilemma

Monday, November 10, 2008 -- Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted that he is unsure whether to make any acquisitions in January or not in the wake of recent results both in the Premier League and in the UEFA Champions League.

Arsenal have suffered some rude shock results in the Premier League and in Europe in recent weeks and tis has led to several supporters demanding reinforcments in January, most notably in the defence and in the midfield.

Arsenal too have been linked with a few high profile players, including the AS Roma combative midfielder Daniele de Rossi but nothing concrete has emerged,

Speaking to the club's official website, Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger had expressed uncertainly in his plans as far as making any new signings are concerned. He said:

"It's far from decided.

"We will make a check at the end of December and we will see. We have had many players out and showed we have a great squad that can win the big games."
