FC Barcelona are certain to undergo a revamp in the summer with a number of top players, notably Ronaldinho, heading for the exit door. But a number of new faces shall also be drafted in and one of those new figures at Camp Nou next season could well be the Dutch Beckham.

Rafael van Der Vaart is known as much for his handsome features as for his great footballing prowess and the latest speculation doing the rounds in Spain is that the former [[Ajax]] youngster could be on his way to the Catakan capital in the summer.

Barcelona head Txiki Begiristain and Frank Rijkaard have been reported to have talked about signing van Der Vaart with the player's agent Bayram Tutumlu. The Dutch international midfielder is supposedly interested in moving away from the AOL arena and it would not be too hard for the Barca hierarchy to convince van Der Vaart to come to Spain and to Barcelona.

Especially when the player would find Ronaldinho gone in the summer leaving a vacant space in the first xi.
