Saturday, October 25 2008 -- The New Orleans Saints have had their share of problems this season. Versatile running back Reggie Bush was recently injured and is out for an unknown length of time.

The Saints are last in the NFC South with the defense giving up way too many yards and points. And now, it looks like New Orleans has three players on the NFL's list of steroid users.

It's been reported by various news sources that New Orleans running back Deuce McAllister and defensive ends Will Smith and Charles Grant have tested positive for steroids. There are eight players in the league whose tests have returned positive results. That means that 38% of those players found to be on steroids are on the Saints' roster.

The Saints are presently in London preparing to play the San Diego Chargers. McAllister and Smith both practiced with the team on Friday morning. It's been reported that both players tested positive for Bumetanide. The NFL's penalty for a first-time positive steroid test is a four-game suspension. As of the writing of this article, neither the three Saints nor their representatives have commented on the allegations.
