Tuesday, October 14 2008 -- Italian and European powerhouse Juventus have been reported to be tracking the current Liverpool manager Rafael Benitez as the potential replacement of Claudio Raneiri at the helm of the Turin club at the end of the season.
There have been recent doubts on the future of the current Juventus coach Claudio Ranieri. Juventus have started their Italian Serie A campaign on an indifferent note and have also stuttered in the UEFA Champions League, leading many to believe that he could get the sack, if not now then almost certainly at the end of the season.
Italian and British media have now reported that Juventus are already lining up potential candidates to fill Ranieri's shoes. Liverpool boss Rafael Benitez reportedly heads the list followed by former Italian national team head coach Roberto Donadoni and the former FC Barcelona coach Frank Rijkaard. Some reports suggest that former Inter Milan coach Roberto Mancini too might be offered the job.
