Saturday, October 11 2008 -- AC Milan and Brazilian ace Ronaldinho has acknowledged that he is very much happy at the San Siro and also insisted that he is coming back into his old self.
Ronaldinho was signed by AC Milan from Spanish giants FC Barcelona in the summer of 2008 and seems to have rejuvenated himself in the red and black half of Milan. He scored his first goal for Milan in the Milan derby against reigning Italian champions Inter Milan last weekend. That goal gave Milan the victory over Inter.
Ronaldinho has now emphasized that he is hugely happy at Milan. He told Milan Channel:
"It is very important for me to work hard in these next few days, as I needed more physical training and hope to be back to my best as soon as possible so I can help Milan.
"Everything is going very well. I thank the fans, who have been so close to me and I hope we can experience great joy together.
"It is fantastic to play at San Siro. I already knew this arena because I had come here to play with Barcelona, but now I am at Milan, it feels like my home."
Speaking on his winner against Inter Milan last weekend, he said:
"I can never forget it, because it was my first goal for Milan and even more important because it came in the derby. I hope the comparison with Kaka can be a good omen and is the start of a similarly wonderful adventure for me, too."
