Stobart VK M-Sport Ford Rally Team driver Mathew Wilson and his teammate Scott Martin won the Colin McRae Forest Stages Rally during the weekend. The duo was in a 2005 spec Ford Focus RS WRC. They ran perfectly in the car prepared by Ramsport and won all four Forest stages in the Central Scotland location.

Although the Stobart duo were the fastest out there, they weren't the main attraction of the evening at all. WRC legends Bjorn Waldegaard, Ari Vatanen and Hannu Mikkola were paying tribute to the late Colin McRae with a spectacular battle.
Alister McRae, Colin's brother won the Historic class and finished fourth in the overall standings. "It was a fantastic event and it was great to win it in memory of Colin who was a driver I always looked up to as a young competitor," said Wilson. "I remember being taught how to drive in the back field in a MK2 escort by Ari Vatanen when I was about eight and I never thought I would get the chance to compete against him one day or any of the other big names here."
