Sunday, August 31 2008 -- The Italian Serie A 2008-2009 season has already started and reigning champions Inter Milan seem to have wrapped up their transfer dealings for the summer. In an interview to Sky Italian Inter Milan president Massimo Moratti admitted so.
Inter Milan had pretty much done their transfer dealings although they have looking towards signing Ricardo Quaresma from Portuguese giants FC Porto. But it has now been (almost) confirmed that Inter wouldn’t be able to recruit the tricky Portuguese international winger this summer.
In an interview to Sky Italia, Moratti said:
“Quaresma? No, I don’t think he will arrive.”
That settles it then, doesn’t it? But shouldn’t Inter have signed Quaresma even if they have had to lash out a considerable amount of money?
