Saturday, August 30 2008 -- English Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur have signed the 26-year old Russian international striker Roman Pavyluchenko from Spartak Moscow for an undisclosed amount.
Spurs have been linked with a number of high profile players in the summer and with Bulgarian international striker Dimitar Berbatov seemingly on his way to Old Trafford and Manchester United, Spurs manager Juande Ramos seems to have made a great signing.
The 26-year old Roman Pavyluchenko has been linked with several major European clubs but it is Spurs who have eventually signed the player who was one of the stars of Euro 2008.
A statement from the club's official website read: "We are delighted to announce that we have reached agreement with Spartak Moscow for the transfer of Roman Pavlyuchenko to the Club."
