Drogba to Milan?

Sunday, April 13 2008 -- If you trust Gianluca Vialli and his contacts at Chelsea, then certainly Ivory Coast international striker Didier Drogba is on his way to Milan. In a video chat with Italian's most respected and popular newspaper la Gazzetta dello Sport, the former Sampdoria, Juventus and Chelsea star said that he knows that Drogba has signed for one of the Milan clubs but he was cryptic on any further details.

Vialli said this to the pink paper:

"Who will we see in Italy out of Drogba, [Dimitar] Berbatov and [Fernando] Torres? Without a doubt the former.

"I have heard that he has already signed for a team from Milan that has vertical stripes on their jersey, with two colours, one of which is black."

So there you have, Vialli refusing to name the Milan side. In most probabilities the club needs to be AC Milan since they have been in contact with the player since the African Cup of Nations in January although Inter Milan with their massive money could too try their luck in importing Drogba.
