Wednesday, August 20 2008 -- Real Madrid star Robinho is set to stay on at the club after weeks of transfer speculation that heavily indicated that he was on his way to Chelsea.
The Brazilian international was supposedly on a disgruntlement as he wanted to move away from the Bernabeu since he was led to believe that Real were eager to offload him to import Cristiano Ronaldo from Manchester United.
But it has now been confirmed that the Brazilian star is playing on for Real Madrid, at least for one more season.
Wagner Ribeiro, Robinho's agent, told the Daily Star: "The dream of Chelsea is broken because Real Madrid will not even negotiate. It is impossible to advance any conversation. Next summer we will sort out the situation if people can show some sense."
