Chelsea's 'Final' Robinho Bid

Sunday, August 17 2008 -- The Robinho transfer saga just keeps on rolling. On Saturday evening in a press conference Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster made it clear that the Brazilian international playmaker is taying on at the Bernabeu next season but it has now emerged that Premiership giants Chelsea are not so eager to let the matter slip out of their hands so easily.

Speaking ahead of Real Madrid's Spanish Super Cup clash with Valencia on Sunday, Schuster told in a press conference that Robinho has never been disgruntled during training sessions and that Robinho shall travel with the rest of the Real Madrid side to Valencia.

But according to the News of the World, it has now been declared that Chelsea are still very much eager to carry on their chase of the once noted "Next Pele". Chelsea had earlier launched a bid but that was supposedly rejected by the Spanish giants.

It has now been revealed that Chelsea shall offer Real Madrid no less that 23.6 million pounds for Robinho next week as the Blues try and add another jewel to their already illustrious crowd.

But sources from Spain say that Real Madrid shall reject this Chelsea bid too as they did the last one.
