Madrid based Spanish sports daily Marca has revealed that the Spanish and European giants Real Madrid are set to miss their influential midfielder Wesley Sneijder for three months due to injury.
Dutch international Wesley Sneijder has been confirmed to have partially torn the internal lateral ligament after a tackle by Arsenal defender Abou Diaby in the Emirates Cup. He was quickly taken to the hospital but there were doubts that he could miss about six months with injury.
But it has now been revealed that he shall be out for just around three months. Yet this is a blow for Real Madrid coach Bernd Schuster who must now have to alter his strategy for the start of the season in Spain.
